A strong ski jacket tech pack helps a manufacturer understand the product before sampling. It should reduce assumptions about fit, construction and performance rather than simply show a fashion sketch.
Essential sections
Include flat sketches, measurement points, graded size chart, fabric composition, insulation, lining, seam construction, zipper details, pocket dimensions, hood, cuff, hem, labels and packaging.
Add performance expectations
State the intended use, weather conditions, water-resistance target, breathability expectations, abrasion areas and required tests. If a value is still undecided, mark it for discussion instead of leaving it ambiguous.
Prepare artwork correctly
Provide logo files, placement measurements, color references and decoration method. Identify which details are mandatory and which can be adjusted for production.
